Design

Every great design starts with a great concept. Email your sketch through with as much detail as possible, along with the appropriate specifications (finger size, shank thickness and width, metal type, and gem dimensions). You'll receive a quote, and should you proceed, we'll email you through an orthographic and perspective view of your piece along with a 3d file for viewing.

Output

Although the output of the 3D jewellery design is the final stage in Starfield CAD's process, it's only the beginning of yours. That's why we want to discuss with you how to approach the assembly, setting, and finishing of the cast piece. We are happy to advise on breakup of components for ease of clean-up and assembly, the position of guide pins and holes, and support struts to minimise casting distortion.  We will also work to your setting preference, whether it be marks for gem placement to allow for hand cutting and beading, or pre-cut channels and/or prongs - whatever you require to achieve the best result possible.

We will then email the final 3D output file directly to you, for you to forward on to your printing/casting company of your choice.
